BioBM Relocates to Boston, MA

BioBM Consulting has completed the move of all of its operations from it’s previous Kingston, New York location to Boston, Massachusetts. BioBM’s physical and mailing addresses are now 9 Weyanoke St., Boston, MA, 02124.

Regarding the move, Principal Consultant Carlton Hoyt gave the following statement:

Statement from Principal Consultant Carlton Hoyt

The move from Kingston to Boston is a natural development in the continued growth and maturation of BioBM. While we appreciated the beauty of being at the foot of the Catskills, the Boston metro area has a near-unparalleled depth of life science tools and services companies, a vibrant startup community, and a culture that is very friendly to life sciences in general. Incredibly, we began to realize benefits from this move before we were even fully moved in, which speaks volumes to the demand for life science marketing services such as ours. I have every confidence that this move will prove beneficial to the company, its clients, and its employees.

All correspondence or packages sent to BioBM should be addressed to the new location. Sending parcels to BioBM’s Kingston address may result in a considerable delay in receipt.

BioBM Launches LifeSciPR

BioBM Consulting, a botique business and marketing consultancy serving life science tools companies, has launched LifeSciPR, a press release site specifically for companies in the life science tools and services sector. LifeSciPR allows all companies in the life science tools sector, as well as public relations agents acting on their behalf, to post press releases free of charge.

While there are many aggregators of general life science news and sites reporting on various life science topics, there are no sites specifically dedicated to the life science research products and services sectors that are both comprehensive and up-to-date,” said Carlton Hoyt, Principal Consultant at BioBM Consulting. “By providing a free platform for all life science tools companies to post releases directly, LifeSciPR will be a comprehensive source for the latest in up-to-date news within the life science tools sector.

Because of the lack of functional press release sites within this highly targeted industry, LifeSciPR will provide companies and PR agents with a unique opportunity to directly speak to relevant communities,” said Douglas Rogers, Director of Internet Services at BioBM Consulting. “We look forward to its adoption and growth. At the same time, we are committed to keeping it free for users and not ruin the viewer experience with advertisements.

LifeSciPR is live and available to use. An RSS feed of the press releases posted to LifeSciPR can be obtained using the following URL: http://biobm.com/press/yadrss/. A feed can also be obtained by following @LifeSciPR on Twitter.

BioBM Announces Idea Farm

BioBM Consulting has announced the release of it’s new “Idea Farm”. Unlike standard services, the BioBM Idea Farm productizes ideas into discrete, purchasable packages at a pre-defined price. The Idea Farm explains what the idea is, who it would be appropriate for, how it should be implemented, and how it will benefit potential life science companies who would purchase it. To maintain the integrity of the ideas, each will only be sold one time, to one buyer.

To date, most of the ideas are for marketing communications initiatives, although BioBM staff members have acknowledged the possibility that relevant ideas in other areas may be added at a later time.

Principal Consultant Carlton Hoyt gave the following statement about the launch of the idea farm:

Statement from Principal Consultant Carlton Hoyt

I am very proud of the ingenuity and innovation that our marketing communications team has shown. Over time, they have presented me with an interesting problem by proposing far more good ideas than we had a client-driven need for. The Idea Farm will provide a platform for BioBM to promote and monetize this ingenuity while simultaneously allowing customers access to these great ideas at a price point that provides an exceptionally strong value.
